I’ve been waiting for years for my owl to inform me that I’m going to Hogwarts. While I loved college, I would’ve loved it even more if potions were involved (other than alcohol). Now, we can all actually enroll. (I just hope I’m not a Slytherin… although Draco Malfoy is pretty cute.)
Live action role-players in Poland created a Hogwarts of their own. They hosted an event called The College of Wizardy, where Harry Potter fanatics from all of the world joined forces to pretend that they’re actually students and professors at Hogwarts.
I’m not talking Harry Potter World, I’m talking about the real thing. 200 live-action role players from 11 countries came together for the first annual event. The LARPers even found a Polish castle for the first session. I’m upset I missed this year’s magical moments, but dibs on Dobby for 2015.
Mark your calendar for April 9-12, 2015, because that’s when you can join in on the role-playing fun (way better than 50 Shades of Grey). Unfortunately, you won’t be able to apparate there, so book your flight immediately.
