If you watched Now and Then over and over when you were little, you’re in luck. While it’s been twenty years since the original happened, the film’s director, Lesli Linka Glatter, hinted that it might make its triumphant return.
You might remember that there was supposed to be an ABC Family TV version. (Which would have been amazing, like an even more mysterious Pretty Little Liars, especially since Marlene King would be behind them both.) Since that didn’t pan out, a brand new movie version is potentially in the works.
Glatter says that she’s friendly with King, the writer, and they’ve been discussing a sequel. It’s unclear if it will come to fruition, but it would 100% be amazing. The girls all grown up seemed more than interesting, and doesn’t everyone want to know what their daughters will be up to? Only time will tell, but this is one remake America needs.
