The weirdest music video in recent American history has made it’s premiere, just in time for the Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Rihanna and Kanye make perfect sense as collaborators, but the addition of Sir Paul McCartney had youths everywhere scratching their head, wondering why two of America’s biggest stars would involve someone’s grandpa in a new song. The video has everything necessary to make a strange and strong impact on pop culture — lots of denim jackets, feelings, and unsmiling Kanye West, Waffle House style.
Rihanna might not have the strongest voice, but the stripped down vocals make “FourFiveSeconds” the type of raw, emotionally exposed song you’ll have on repeat for days. The video is mostly bad gal RiRi looking glam in a denim jumpsuit, but Sir Paul does show his face a couple of times, making this video fun for the whole family. These three would make for the best “would you rather” game ever.
