We’re not sure what kind of moral compass Kanye West found yesterday, but the rapper took to Twitter to apologize to Beck following the Grammy Awards. When Beck won Album of the Year, ‘Ye jumped up on stage, ready to protest the winner the way he did at the 2009 VMAs with Taylor Swift. Although Kanye didn’t go through with it and walked off stage, he made it clear to the media that he didn’t feel Beck deserved the award.
Kanye appeared on BBC Radio 1 yesterday and finally admitted he was in the wrong at the Grammys saying, “The Grammy’s sell commercial time. It’s a ridiculous proposition what they try to get away with. They aren’t the pinnacle, they are the assistant. Us as artists are the pinnacle. I hadn’t been in a few years. The Grammys are like an ex-girlfriend, the minute you get in the car with them you want to go straight back home ”
Then he took it Twitter because unless it’s on social media, it didn’t happen.
Kanye also issued an apology to (and expressed a desire to collaborate with) Bruno Mars.
Maybe Kim Kardashian had a little sit down with the hubby to teach him about right and wrong. North has such good role models!
