How do you say goodbye to one of the greatest shows on television? It’s unclear, but Parks & Recreation is finally coming to an end so we will have to find a way. Luckily, you’ll always have Netflix. If you can’t believe that it’s time to say goodbye to April, Andy, Leslie, and Perd, recap everything they’ve been through together.
11. Detlef Schrempf
No one on Parks & Rec has a better name, and it’s actually his real one. Entertainment 720 would be nothing without help from THE Detlef Schrempf.
10. Chief Ken Hotate
You have to love him, even if he did put a curse on Leslie.
9. Dennis Feinstein
Feinstein is played by Jason Mantzoukas, who’s equally creepy on The League (the perfect show to binge watch while the tears still run down your face after the finale). Sure, he probably hunts man like The Most Dangerous Game, and if you ever smelled his scents in real life you might die, but it just might smell as delicious as Axe Body Spray.
8. Brandi Maxx
Only Leslie Knope would have a porn star who looks exactly like her.
7. Greg Pikitis
Greg Pikitis was a formidable foe for Leslie, and his peach pit will live on in infamy.
6. Orin
This creep was everything, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he murders everyone in the series finale. Maybe Parks & Rec is secretly a murder-mystery, and that’s what its been leading up to.
5. Perd Hapley
Perd Hapley is the best fake anchorman to ever be on television, whether it’s Parks & Recreation or Scandal.
4. Ginuwine
Not looking Ginuwine is one of Tom Haverford’s “oh no nos,” and he’s right. Donna’s cousin performing “Pony” is hands down one of the best things that has ever happened in television history.
3. L’il Sebastian
Unfortunately, the hologram and the l’il Sebastian impersonator will never hold a candle to the real thing.
2. The Douche
The fact that Leslie Knope and The Douche are dating in real life will never not be amazing.
1. Craig Middlebrooks
Oh Craig, we barely knew you. But Billy on the Street brought the heat to the final season, and he was everything.
Honorable Mention: Tammy #1 and #2, Kyle, Joan Callamezo, Mona-Lisa and Jean-Ralphio Saperstein, Tynnfer, Bobby Newport, and Ethel Beavers, who everyone will always want as their grandmother.
