Ed Sheeran had a busy day proving he can do anything better than other people.
He might not be a meteorologist, but if the singing thing doesn’t work out, I wouldn’t mind hearing Ed give weather report in the morning.
The singer co-hosted a BBC Radio 1 breakfast show Tuesday morning, where his bud Taylor Swift also appeared as a guest. When he was asked to give the weather report, Ed improvised, saying, “The weather outside is brisk. If you walk out you will get very, very pink cheeks very quickly. You will need some lip balm because your lips will dry and that will happen. Also, there is a chance that you will step in a puddle today, so please do not wear slippers outside.”
When the reporter noted that was “Ed Sheeran’s version” of the forecast, he immediately protested, “No! That was the real weather!” He then promised he wasn’t after the reporter’s job…he knows he was good. I know I wouldn’t want to get my slippers wet and forgetting chapstick is the worst. Thanks for the info, Ed.
Then he showed he could even outdo a pop diva. Who didn’t jam out to Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty” at sweet sixteen parties? The 2002 hit got a new soulful spin from Ed when he covered it at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge on Tuesday.
