This year marks the 50th anniversary of the musical “The Sound of Music”, that would spark Julie Andrews’ carrier. And The Oscars decided to pay tribute to the movie, that would take home five Awards in 1966, in a big way.
Lady Gaga sang a compilation of the movie’s most famous songs, “The Hills Are Alive” obviously, “My Favorite Things”, “Eldeweiss” and “Climb Every Mountain”.
This powerful performance was just a reminder of how versatile as a performer Lady Gaga is, because she basically killed it in the high notes that even got Julie Andrews, who was presenting next, shocked.
Werk it, Gaga!
