Did you forget that Fall Out Boy ever existed? Your loss, really, as their early songs were bonafide pop-punk gold. Now, they’re back and… well, better than ever would be an extremely strong statement. They’re certainly back, though (in all their catchy glory).
Their sound has evolved similarly to Good Charlotte. Both started out making genuine pop-punk, but became pure pop after a couple of years. Also, both bands love dating models and celebutantes. They should just merge and form one early 2000s mega group, singing dance club hits with the occasional screaming chorus.
The new FOB video for “Irresistible’ is bound to make you at least a little bit uncomfortable. It features Pete Wentz rocking a peroxide blonde crew cut (he should know better — even noted modelizer/musician Adam Levine couldn’t pull off the same obscene hairdo). Wentz is also wearing a pair of boxers/boy booty shorts that should be saved for the bedroom.
If you’re looking for a blast from the past, this Fall Out Boy video has everything.
