One unbreakable rule of the internet-we can never get enough new takes on Disney princesses. Gender swap, clothes swap, punk, realistic hair, you name it, we want to see it. And now we have yet another princess series princesses saving themselves, created by the artist/activist Saint Hoax. Saint Hoax has used Disney to make a social statement before, creating princesses kissing their fathers in a series titled Princest Diaries to bring attention to the issue of sexual assault committed by a family member, and Happy Never After which aims to raise awareness of abusive relationships. Now, in Save Yourself the princesses give themselves a kiss, not waiting for a prince to save them. Now it’s time for someone to write the fan fiction.
