Emma Watson, announced this past January on Facebook what everybody had been waiting to hear:
Disney is set to make our childhood dreams come true, casting Emma as “Belle”, because personally the resemblance is on point!
For the role of the “Beast”, a source has confirmed, the part has been offered to Ryan Gosling. We have to wait and see if Ryan is into playing the role, but so far so good on the casting decisions.
The project will be a live-action adaptation of the animated Disney movie, and will be directed by Dreamgirls’s Bill Condon. The movie will be a musical too, keeping the original score we all know and love.
The production is set to start later in 2015, in the meantime the next Disney live-action adaptation Cinderella is due out on March.
