Adam Brody’s coming back to TV! Yay! And he’s playing a man who falls for his step-sister? Well I guess it is a post Lannister TV landscape we’re living in. While the show’s title (Billy & Billie) does give away the creepy detail that the step-siblings have the same first name (but it’s spelled differently, which is good, because that could get confusing). What we don’t know is how long this pair have had parents in common. In a scene Brody introduces her as his sister and her mother refers to him as her child, and both are quickly corrected. Is this a post adolescence thing where they came home from their first year of college and found their parent’s house was a little more crowded, or are there photos of them in tiny formal wear at their parents’ ’90s wedding? So it might be creepy, it looks kind of funny, and it’s definitely going to lead to a few amusing think pieces when it debuts on DirecTV in March.
