If there’s anything you can be sure of, it’s that J.K. Rowlings fans will gobble up anything she gives us. Kind of bizarre tweets adding vampires and Jewish students to the HP canon? Sure. An adult novel on small town politics? Yeah why not. And now, as we all wait not so patiently the November 18th, 2016 release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, we’ll have a Casual Vacancy mini-series to tide us over. The series, which will air on BBC One starting on February 15th boasts plenty of British stars including In the Flesh’s Emily Bevan and even Dumbledore (the new one, not the real one). So whether or not you’re interested in the plot or intrigued by the trailer, you’re going to watch, so let’s cross our fingers for a series worthy of Potterheads’ attention.
