With everything that’s happening on Dartmouth, the University of Virginia, and Columbia’s campuses lately (just to name a few), it’s more important than ever for college girls to learn more about gender dynamics and how they relate to agency and sexuality. If these concepts sound interesting but are basically foreign to you, there’s an easy way to gain a quick education in everything feminism (and I’m not just talking Lena Dunham’s latest).
Not quite sure if you’re ready to commit to a Gender Studies class? The best starter package you can invest with would be these books, which should be required reading for all college students. Once you read any of these, you’ll realize that you’re a feminist (and proud to be one). You’ll also probably enroll in your school’s Gender Studies program immediately.
