If you’ve read any Oscar predictions this year (which really are the best way to deal with holiday overload), you’ve seen Julianne Moore’s name at the top of every lead actress list. Moore has been nominated for four Academy Awards, most recently getting two nominations in 2002 for her performances in The Hours and Far From Heaven, but it looks like she might scoop up that super fancy paper weight in 2015 with Still Alice, the story of a college professor dealing with a diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer’s disease. Just from the brief clips it’s obvious Moore does a phenomenal job of conveying how terrifying it must be to gradually lose your memories and language.
