’90s kids, do you remember Puppy Surprise, the cute stuffed dog you ripped open to discover just how many offspring she would grant you? There were other surprises too, like the gender and color of the puppies, but no actually cool surprises, like one of the puppies being a baby pterodactyl. It was like a Wonderball without any delicious candy involved.
Well the toy you kind of sort of liked from your childhood might be what your little cousins asks for this Christmas. Puppy Surprise is back, with a new commercial that proves they’re giving kids a lot more Ritalin now than they were in the early ’90s.
There are so many much cooler ’90s toys that deserve a 21st century renaissance. Let’s get organized for next year and bring back the SkyDancer.
